If you're considering Boutique Garden for the first time, here's what to expect from the ordering process — no surprises, no hidden steps.
Minimum order quantities (MOQs)
Most of our product lines carry an MOQ of 1,000 units per variety or per colour — for example, 1,000 pieces per colour on our self-watering mason jars, or 1,000 per variety across our vintage zinc pails and window planters. A handful of formats, like our grass hair kits, are sold by the display unit (100 displays of 24 pieces). If you're testing a new category with us, we're happy to talk through which format best fits your first order.
DDP delivery, explained
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means Boutique Garden handles the full shipping process — international freight, customs clearance, duties and import taxes — and delivers directly to your warehouse door. You don't need to manage a customs broker or account for import costs separately; the landed price you're quoted is the price you pay.
Certifications and compliance
Every seed batch is tested for purity and germination by international laboratories, with batch numbers for full traceability. Blue and Orange ISTA certifications are available on request, and we handle the documentation required for international seed and plant shipments — phytosanitary certificates, plant passports, and seed analysis certificates — so your import process stays smooth on your end.
Private label and custom development
If you'd rather sell under your own brand, we offer everything from a packaging adaptation to a fully bespoke kit developed to your brief, target price point, and retail requirements. Lead times for private label projects are naturally longer than for existing catalogue items, so it's worth starting that conversation early if you're planning a launch.
Lead times
Because we manage large-volume international orders end-to-end, we recommend building in 3–4 months between order confirmation and stock arriving on your shelves for standard catalogue items — more for private label or peak-season (Christmas) volumes.
